Growing up in Manurewa, South Auckland raised by his Filipino parents, Ryz started his Barbering journey at the young age of 12. This counts his experience to 7 years cutting hair and 3+ years professionally in a barbershop.

Ryz has had experience with all hairstyles and textures- making him confident in his skill-set.

“I wouldn’t say I have a favourite or specialise in one haircut, I love doing them all”, Ryz says.

Ryz has had the opportunity to work along-side many amazing barbers such as StyledByJordz, The09Barber, NativeFades, HusPuaBlendz. He now works from home, alongside his partner BraidsByFia.

Apart from barbering, Ryz also enjoys involving himself within fashion, photography and basketball.
